This weekend went amazingly well! This is truly the most fun I've had in a LONG time. I haven't had an actual good vacation in several years. The guys I hung out with this weekend are some of the best. An amazing group of people to go on a trip with. The group was almost TOO laid back - it was tough to get them to make a decision! But it made for a very stress/drama-free weekend.
In attendance were: Dustin McClain (the doomed), Me (the best man), Jarred Winebarger (groomsman), Eric Whitson, Jason Bowles, and Brian Ink.
Here's what we did:
rented:
cabin - (click to see)
van - Chrystler: Town & Country (we rode in style, automatic everything - power sliding doors, windows, etc.)
played:
poker
Halo2
putt-putt
lazertag
ping pong
pool (billiards)
air hockey
raced gocarts
soaked in hot-tub:
combined total - 12 hours
watched:
Shaun of the Dead
Hellboy
bought (at China Bazaar):
soft pellet guns (3)
"samurai" sword
ate:
burgers and dogs, chips, potato salad
steak, baked potatoes, cornbread
ribs, shrimp, chicken, potatoes, fries, onion loaf, bread
bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles
drank:
pepsi, coke, sprite, O.J., milk, water, ginger ale, and other various juices
corona, bicardi O3, Smirnoff Ice, and other various beers/wine-coolers
slept - very little

Scotty, when are you leaving for the summer? Are you in town the weekend of July 15th.
I'm leaving this Saturday (May 14).
I'll have opportunities to pop in every now and then... why?
We were gonna invite you to Men's Weekend: Kentucky. It's the weekend of July 15th.
Cool. If I'm in town at all that weekend, I'll drop in (if that's cool).
No, sorry. Men's Weekend: Kentucky is an all or nothing kind of deal. It's like marriage - it takes dedication, commitment, and there's no sex.
Just kidding. Let us know if you're in town.
By the way, when I said, "just kidding" I meant about you not being able to drop in. I wasn't kidding when I said there'd be no sex. There will definitely be no sex.
Although, never say never, I guess.
Sounds like an awesome time. I'll let you plan my last night of freedom! I've never been to Gatlinburg or the mountains over there.
Next time I am in Lex, need to hook up with you and Jason and go bowling or something, for old times sake.
Of course their is nothing like the Briar Bowl in Lexington I bet.
Richmond has a great bowling alley.
