Bengals, Chiefs welcome back Palmer
This is the day and the opponent Carson Palmer focused on through the blur and the haze of rehab.
Sept. 10. At Kansas City.
"Once the schedule came out," Palmer said, "I had something to aim for."
A sure sign he has reached the elite is that his foes that day may be on the other sideline, but they are in his corner. Palmer may have had the fewest snaps of any starting quarterback in the preseason, but those snaps were so good that on Wednesday it was assumed he’ll be as good as ever.
