I like Stewie so much better when they don't play up the world domination thing. I prefer him when he's either struggling with his impending homosexuality, or playing out some social cliche. The longer the show went before it's initial cancellation they started downplaying the whole "world domination" thing. I was happy about that.
I thought the first episode of the new season was hilarious, but kind of wasted Stewie. The second episode fell kind of flat for me. I look forward to the third.
