weekend update

everybody's workin' for the weekend

Saturday I setup and ran lights for the weekend services at my church. I didn't feel very well starting in the afternoon... but I stopped by a friends house for a few minutes to hang out. I left shortly after I arrived, went home and snuggled up to the toilet for about an hour, then went to bed.

Sunday was wonderful - an extra hour of sleep! Unfortunately it had to be interrupted by my alarm. Ran lights at church again, and afterwards Stephanie and I went to see Woodford County's production of DRACULA! It was incredible. There was no weakspot in the production of this show. All of the actors were talented, the set design was incredible and allowed the show to flow well, and the lighting design was amazing. So many times I go to see a community theatre project and come away from it being able to pick apart at least one or two actors - but not this time.

At the show we ran into some friends of ours and went to a restaurant/bar called Sweet Potatoes and talked for a couple of hours.

It was a really nice weekend. One of the better ones I've had in a while.
