nature is not without a sense
Preface: On my way home from my mom's after a nice Thanksgiving weekend, I had a conversation that pretty much sank all of my organs into my stomach.
When I started out from my mother's house, the sun was shining, there were very few clouds in the sky, and it was a decent temperature outside. As I crossed into Kentucky from Ohio, the sun seemed to go behind a cloud, and I could see toward the southern horizon the sky was looking quite a bit more grey than the previous two hours of my trip. The closer I came to home, the darker the clouds, and the more time the sun spent dodging the open cloud holes. About 30 minutes to my destination, the clouds are dark as could be and they decided to open up with a down-pour to rival a monsoon. My windshield wipers couldn't keep up with the torent. Luckily, it only lasted about 10 minutes and it returned to just a hard rain, then a steady rain into a drizzle. Finally it faded into just a misting, and the roads ahead were dry, but the clouds were still dark. It seemed the storm was yet to be over.
Last words: I apologize.
