jack of all trades turns 1!

That's right in just a couple of weeks the blog that began with a simple whine has turned into something ... else. [dryly] I don't know about you, but I can hardly contain myself.

good news

Something to look forward to.

I received a call from my good friend ben stewart last night. He works for a kind of touring ministry [Inlightened Ministries] based out of Nashville, TN. There are a couple of conferences that they are gearing up for coming up in December and January. They've offered to have come in as their "lighting guy". I just can't wait! It's the best of so many worlds... i get to work with my friend, use my skills for worship, and i get to travel! One of the events is in North Carolina (i believe) and the other is in Gatlinburg, TN. I'm super psyched about it. I just hope I have work until then. :S

return of the ... me

I am now back in Richmond. Hooray. I guess. I seem to have a slight feeling of emptiness. I'm glad to see some familiar faces again... especially that of my best friend. But something about this place suddenly feels.... unfullfilling.

I don't really feel like I have too much to look forward to right now. My room in the apartment is a mess - as is the living room from where one of my good friends moved out during the summer. No, the living room isn't a mess, it's just un-inviting and cold-feeling.

I ran around paying bills and making appointments today to see get myself on track here. Maybe when stuff starts happening, I'll feel better.

I really look forward to visiting some friends in New York, right now, though.

another foot in the digital era

I finally took the next step into the digital era, I ordered an iPod! I can't wait to start using it... of course, my computer is still out of commission... so I'm not too sure HOW I'll get songs onto it.
