After an hour on the phone with DELL, the determination was that my hard drive has errors on it. They're sending me a new one and it'll arrive in two days. Until then, thanks to my roommate (Dustin) for the use of his computer.
And now a moment of silence for all the programs lost due to my fallen hard drive.
Oh yeah... and let's not foget all the porn. (j/k)
